  • Agriculturist

    Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative has a position open for an individual with strong communication skills and an agricultural background to join its team.

    Incumbent will manage a field district and educate Shareholders in producing a premium quality sugarbeet crop by advising on land preparation, planting, maintaining and harvesting the crop including:

    • variety selection
    • chemical recommendations
    • application procedures

    Individual is also responsible for harvest operations, including:

    • planning
    • scheduling
    • piling and storing of beets
    • supervising employees

    Preferred bachelor’s degree in related field with at least 3-5 years experience in an agricultural related environment. Ability to communicate clearly, problem solve, and sugar beet knowledge a plus.
